Welcome to Eastland High School

I welcome you to Eastland High School, home of the “Mavericks” and “Lady Mavs”. The administration, teachers, and staff at EHS are here to provide the best instruction and overall educational program that will prepare our students to be positive, productive citizens upon graduation.

High expectations for student performance and behavior will be the norm as we prepare our students for the future. Our campus goals include a challenging and effective instructional program with the best teachers available, prepare our students to be proficient in the use of technology, provide a safe and secure environment, and have our graduates ready to enter college, technical school, the military, or the workforce. The education of our students will depend on a successful partnership between the EHS faculty and staff and the parents and citizens of this community.

We look forward to working with you in order to be sure that our students are successful and competitive in whatever they pursue. Our children are our most precious assets, and we are all here to work with you for their success. I consider it an honor to be the principal at Eastland High, and I look forward to the challenges and achievements to come.
