Mrs. Cox attended EISD 1st grade through  her senior year and graduated from EHS in 1971. She was a majorette in Eastland jr. High. She
attended college at Cisco Jr. College gaining an AAS in Business Administration and Tarleton State University receiving a BS in Education. She also made the dean's list at CJC and graduated with honors from TSU.  Her inspiration to become a teacher was found around the age of 13 when she really enjoyed babysitting and being around young children, she also says her first grade teacher had influence on her career.  Ever since then she has always thought of being a teacher.  Her favorite travel location is Germany where she lives for three years when she was stationed there in the army. She went into the army in 1975. Her dreams after retirement are to enjoy life and leisure time, and her grandkids. She has two sons- Timothy is twenty years old, and Jeremy who is twenty five.   Her main hobbies are reading, sewing, making blankets and painting t-shirts. She has a toy poodle-princie, and Bichom-chrissy that she enjoys spending time with and almost go everywhere with her. Her favorite books are romances from the old south times. she likes most 60's and oldies music, and she likes to shop at Bealls, and dillards. her favorite place to eat is Cracker Barrel. Her name was published in the 10th Edition, 2005-2006, Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She received The Army Commendation medal for outstanding service in the army.
