| What was you're inspiration to
become a teacher? |
I
grew up in the small community of Strawn, TX. God blessed
me with strong supportive parents and a wonderful family. My
teachers were very good role models and set good examples. I
married and had 2 beautiful children and I wanted to be able to
support them. The combination of all the above led me into
education and the love of children and sports inspired me to
become a coach and a teacher. My ultimate desire is to
always be a positive role model at home and at school. |
| Teaching Philosophy |
If
a student believes they can be successful they will be.
Therefore as a teacher I need to promote and
self-esteem , positive attitudes, good work ethics and encourage
each and every student. I try my very best to treat each and
every student the way I would want my own children to be
treated, I find this to be very rewarding. |
| Family |
My
husband of 25 yrs. works at Comanche Electric coop. and has for
22 yrs. My wonderful son Josh is a contract welder and lives
wherever work takes him. My beautiful daughter Jennie is
finishing her associated degree at Ranger College and plans to
get her bachelors degree but is not real sure where at this
time. |
